Optimisation

Well cant say i understand every word but i understand the jist of it. Just playing with it abit to make it more clear, ive realised that if a image is dithered it makes it a larger file size, PNG has alot more colour selection and JPEG is the normal save although when zoomed in it can blur alot etc. Ive downsized a JPEG 300 DPI file to see the change in quality, i will put it below.


This one is the original 300 DPI file.


This is the downsized file.

As you can see it is slightly smaller but now it is only 14.79k where as it was 42.93k. It was 2126 pixels wide by 1535 pixels high but now is only 1063 pixels wide by 768 pixels high.
